The dazzling traditional performances not only ignite the festive vibe but also honor cultural identity, presenting a Da Nang that is both modern and deeply rooted in tradition – a key reason why the city continues to hold a special place in visitors’ hearts during each holiday season.

Da Nang tourism forecasted to boom
During the recent Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day holiday, Da Nang showcased its strong tourism appeal with a sharp surge in visitor numbers at major attractions.
At Sun World Ba Na Hills, April 6 recorded 31,900 visitors – the highest daily number in the park’s 16-year history. Over the two-day holiday, Ba Na Hills welcomed nearly 54,000 guests, tripling the figure from the same period last year. This growth was largely driven by a ticket discount program for Central and Central Highlands residents and captivating activities within the Sunflower Festival, featuring hundreds of thousands of blooming sunflowers and vibrant art performances.

Not only Ba Na Hills, but other destinations such as Da Nang Downtown also saw visitor numbers nearly double compared to the same time last year. Visitors enjoyed traditional cultural experiences like lion and dragon dances, the lively Vui Phet night market, and a variety of thrilling rides.
This summer, with an explosion of festivals and major events – especially the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2025) set to take place on an unprecedented scale – Da Nang tourism is forecasted to continue booming, not only leading domestic travel trends but also reinforcing its position on the international tourism map.
